Good mouthpiece but requires time to adapt, May 6, 2010

I have allways liked Bach trumpet Mouthpieces, and use regularly an 1C or 1 for my orchestral trumpet playing. Nevertheless, for my piccolo (Amati Piccolo which uses a large bore mouthpieces) I had allways used the Stork Vachiano 1.5P or 1.5E and wanted to change for a Bach. Nonetheless, the adaptation so far has not been as expected. It is a difficult mouthpice due to its shallowness. Any excessive pressure and you will not be able to play at all. Therefore, I have found it very usefull to study my piccolo with, rather tahn for actual live perfomance.
