I have many different versions of the works on this CD, but I have to say that Michael Murray using the organ at Zwolle has managed a magnificent recording. In particular it would be impossible to come away from his work on Bach's BWV 659 (#7 on the CD) not completely overwhelmed. This piece alone is enough to justify this CD!

The Organ at Zwolle is a superb example of Dutch craftmanship. Michael Murray does a splendid job with the music. BWV 532 P & F in D is a tad slow for my tastes. Overall, this is a splendid CD and I would reccomend this and Bach at St. Bavo's to any one's CD collection.

The combination of acoustic, engineering, instrument, playlist, and artist create a memorable project. Highly recommended.
