The rendition of Mr. Bojangles on this CD is a religious experience! Sure, others have recorded the song, and Sammy Davis has recorded other versions as well. None of the other versions--not even the other Sammy Davis ones--compare to Davis' work here. I can listen to it over and over and over and crawl out of any hole or funk that I am in. As sung by Sammy, the song is humanism at its best!
As for the rest of the CD--who cares?
