One problem about this country of ours, U. S. A., of all the foreign film classic there is a biased against german classic on home video.Your bigger corporations are greedy and want to make the fast buck and the fast audience from their classic film. While other company's are small and on a budget, which limits what they can distribute, like janus, kino on video and historical films The other wants to make quick money from neo nazis and and milllitary fans only. Sure, Triumph of the will, Bismark , Jude sus , are important classics. But the greed in our country for a fast buck as a result doesn't include us serieous classic film fans , who are scholarly and academic. We are a medium size audience. What we want is unpopular. We can't make the fast buck for the big corps.Because of this german film classic that were made for escapist purposes arn't officially popular here. It's very limited. More to greed than false liberalism. These big corporations pay lip service to phoney liberals by avoiding the distirbution of escapist classics which were made by the studios and not the nazis, They just control the studios. So us serieous fans have to look else were out of desperation. Bachalor's paradise was a hienz ruhmann comedy. It also starred one of the few actors who publicly spoke out against the nazis, Hans Brausewetter. This was a fun movie with no propaganda in it. I doubt this would appeal to neo nazi's. No swastikas no uniforms. The plot about three men who have sworn off of women. It's funny. It was one of the last german films to be release in american theators befor the date which will live in imphamy.
