This is a great way to add new locomotives to your DCC Model Railroad layout. If you can solder wires together you can easily install one of these in most modern locomotives. I have purchased more than a couple of these and have installed 3 of them to date with no problem, other than one of them ran backwards, that's a 50/50 crapshoot if the motor terminals are not clearly marked. Give one a try I'm sure you'll buy more.
