Bachmann's EZ Track is super simple to put together and take apart. I have had no connection problems or durability issues, even with well over 100 pieces connected at a time. I also have cats, and the hair has never been an issue. I have used a couple of similar products and they do fit more securely but I have broken them when taking them apart. This is the best of both worlds.
