Blackened and blissed out digital hardcore,
By Gravitational Constant (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: White Moth (MP3 Download)
The title of my review sounds crazy, and it's totally true, White Moth is some very unique and awesome music. There are so many subgenres of music found in here, everything from digital hardcore, metal, electronica, shoegaze, drone/ambient, and hiphop/rap. I haven't heard a band pull off all this kind of "avant-garde" style of metallic music since Mr. Bungle & Faith No More. The more "metal" side is much like post-black metal, well mostly because the guitarist is from Krallice, Colin Marston (Which is a highly respected avant-garde/post-black metal band). Also Alec Empire of Atari Teenage Riot, and Shelby Cinca of Frodus is featured in the band. To "sum up" White Moth I'll just list some artists which can relate some, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Atari Teenage Riot, Frodus, Krallice, Nadja, and Pyramids. The only place to get White Moth on CD is through it's label, Angel Oven Records, on Blue Collar Distro.
