Blender works like a charm. I don't know what the other reviewer was experiencing. This thing has worked well from day 1.
Had a more expensive (almost 2X as much) blender from kitchenaid...which I like to refer to as "garbage". This one is far supperior. It does not have a computer motherboard that can conk out. Has 3 simple dial settings and easy buttons. Crushes ice and frozen fruit and makes slushies as well as blends well and THEN it has a food processor on top of that! All that for around $50 is gold in my book. Have purchased many things from back to basics and never had a problem.

This machine is exactly made to do the tasks at hand. The modular design of having both "bowls" configured for quick swaps (according to your requirement) saves time and effort. Sometimes, appliances aren't used for smaller jobs simply because the assembly and clean-up is dreaded. Not so with this processor. It is fast, powerful and well designed. The dispensing spout is great for drinks as the multiple blades and solid bowl are for food processing. It will crush ice easily and makes smoothies like a pro. I give it a 4.

Maybe better off buying at store,

Blender worked great- used five times then the glass handle started cracking. So it was almost the 2 month old mark so I know Amazon wouldn't exchange it. They shipped it from Target. Tried to take it/exchange it back at my local Target store. Wouldn't accept it at store, tried the online customer service- no dice because I bought it thru Amazon. Target has a 90 day guarantee but not if you buy thru another retailer.
So I am out 50 bucks. Oh well live and learn. Be very careful in choosing what you buy.
