I did a loooooooot of research before figuring out which juicer to buy.I wasn`t ready to spend 250$ for "the best" ones. This one was the one that had the lowest RPM of all centrifugal juicers - and that is very important for keeping all the nutrients in the juice you get. This one was the most quiet one of all ( and it REALLy is - it is the most quiet of all my appliances ). This one was extracting the most juice ( and it does - the pulp is pretty dry ). It is easy to clean and assemble. It does great job with carrots, oranges and greens ( which sometimes can cause problems to some juicers ).
I am extremely happy with this juicer. For the home juicing I higly recommend this juicer! I can not find any disadvantage - the feeder is of the small kind but the ones with the big feeder - meaning the ones that extract juice from the whole pieces of fruit and veggies have to have pretty high RPM to be able to handle that - which is not good for the nutrients from the fruits and veggies. Buy this juicer and you won`t regret it ...I know how hard can be to figure out which one is the best for money you can afford...so NutriSource is the solution.

New to Juicing,

I'ts been a month since we purchased this. Being new to Juicing can't write a comparitive review. It does the Job of juicing extremely well. Makes least noise among all my other electrical gadgets. Easy to clean. Only disadvantage I've observed so far is the feeder is very small so you will have to slice or cut the fruits before feeding it in the Juicer.Pulp ejector works perfectly & the pulp that comes out is almost dry. I guess it's a pretty good Juicer for starters 7 for the Price.

passable juicer with some drawbacks,

This juicer does work...and the juice it produces does taste better than store bought; however it is hardly 'whisper quiet'. It also takes a while to clean the strainer part of the machine, use a toothbrush. I can't speak to its durability as I haven't used it very long, but i've juiced a variety of friuts and vegetables. You are left with ALOT of pulp no matter which type of fruit and vegetables you use; and it is wet...NOT DRY.
I wonder how hard the motor is working...since it seemed to get louder after I juiced for a while...I would guess it's prone to burn out because the motor is working too hard. I recommend cleaning after each use- especially if you are going to use it on a daily basis. Will update this review with a note about how long the juicer lasts. If you've never juiced before...it takes alot of fruit and/or vegetables to make an 8 ounce glass. For example 6 carrots and 2 cored sliced apples makes one glass of juice. Hope this helps.

Works for me.,

After using this juicer for five years, every day, the motor finally quit. Fortunately, I had bought another one just before it died. To get five years out of a product that is used every day is incredable. I've been using my second one for about a year and a half now, and guess what, I've got another brand new one sitting on the self for when and if this one fails. Another review states that the clean-up is a pain. I disagree. Maybe because I've made a commitment to this juicing thing and am in a groove as far as the clean-up goes. Actually, I've made a recent adjustment to my morning juicing. I switch back and forth every morning with the Magic Bullet that is sold in most stores. The Nutrasource 1000 gives straight liquid whereas the Bullet give you the whole fruit. All in all, Nutrasource 1000 is a great juicer.

This is my first juicer, which I chose from reading tons of reviews. I have learned with things like this, don't go blowing your money on THE BEST when you don't even know if you'll use it. I spent $450 on a Vitamix, hated it, and sold it. For some reason Amazon has this super cheap and it's a great deal. This juicer would be worth full price anyways. It's small, decently quiet, not too terrible to put together/take apart/clean, and moves at lower RPM so it doesn't destroy the nutrients. I don't juice tons of things so I can't say how it does with everything, and yes of course you have to pre cut stuff. It's just how it goes. You can't throw a whole apple in any juicer, no matter what you see on TV. Overall very happy I didn't go too high end. If you're a casual/beginner juicer, this is all you'll need!

I love this product. It runs smoothly without too much noise. Easy to clean. Nice look. Though the pulp is not perfectly dry, it is a great juicer.

Had this puppy for about two years now. It gets used at least 4 times a week for jucing carrots, celery, cuccumber, tomatoes, apples, oranges, spinich, ginger, lemons...my staples. Never had any problems, and its easy to clean up. Siply pull down the large metal latch and everything comes off. Never bogs down, and it is very quiet when running. I have not tried other juicers, but have seen the Bogmouth juicers in peration. They are loud and operate more violently than the nutrisource. I feed in vegetables and fruits slowly so that the pulp size is small and it eliminates the 'soggy pulp' issue others have mentioned. Highly recommended.
