My homeboy put me on to this CD. I am a big Texas fan but this slip through the radar, due to our everyday work routine we all go through. Lived in Texas 7 years so I can tell you this is a Classic CD. I routinely keep this CD in my rotation. Ride with no ceiling is a Dope Boys Dream, but in reality this CD speaks of the everyday hustle of Todays Youth. I'm older now, but I remember some of the same situation of this CD, Good riding music, just don't do it.
Peace!

Man Hold Up! This boy Slim has done it once again. This boy puts in ya'll face every time. You better watch out for these Boyz N Blue, they are definitely on the rise. I would say they are a close comparison to NWA, but much more fly with the word play and much more GANGSTA!! This disc should go straight to the Underground Hall of Fame, from start to finish it will have your head bobbin' and you will find yourself rewinding verses and replaying songs. If you truely love Gangsta Rap, then this cd is a MUST HAVE!!!!!!! I'm reppin for the Eastside of Houston Baby!!

I've been a fan of Slim Thug since I first heard him featured on "Down South" with Lil Keke & Fat Pat back in 1998. Once thing I like about Slim Thug is he's underground at heart. Even in interviews, when praised, he doesn't brag on himself like a Kanye West or a T.I. He does it strictly for the streets, strictly for the paper & strictly for that Texas. Like he says on one of his recent joints "Bitch I'm Back", "F**k the fame & f*** going commercial." I'm from Houston so I felt this album along with his 2007 release "Serve & Collect." This is straight gutter music, mostly produced by Mr.Lee. I'd say 95% of the beats jam & there's only one or two joints you won't mind skipping. My favorite's include "No Ceiling", "Looking Clean", "Like Me", "Rap Reality Show", "Give Me Some" & "It's Going Down." If you like underground, Houston or "ride music" I like to call it, then get this album. You will not be disappointed. Keep doing it Slim!
