Top stuff,
By The Dark Lord "GR" (Perth, WA) - See all my reviews

No, it's not the wasted Waysted circa 1986 but an efficient, updated version of today. I saw them on tour and they still smoke! Strong vocals, tight drumming, expressive guitar and the usual from Mr Way is as one would expect. Traditional heavy blues/hard rock, the way it should be done. Recommended.

A Warm Welcome Back From The Dead,
By kurtv (Illinois) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Back from the Dead (Audio CD)
Listening to this CD is like going through a time warp. Pete Way & Fin seem like they've been recording together over the past twenty years they've been apart. This originally started with Paul Chapman on guitar, put since he is a whiner, they brought in a newcomer named Chris George. And believe me,he blows P.C. away.Drumming on five of the eight new tracks is Scott Phillips, who also drums in the Pete Way Band. Paul Haslin handles drums on the other three tracks. If you are a fan of the original Waysted, this will not disappoint.Songs like Alternativa & Breakfast Show are classic Waysted Rock-N-Roll.Hopefully they'll get the passport issue solved and come to the U.S. and do some live shows. It would be something to see!Long live the reunited Waysted!

What a waste of time,

The album has a poor sound to it and the new guitar parts are spliced in, they are just aweful. Paul Chapman should have stayed around but it did not work out.
