About the Author

Professor, engineer, physicist, husband, father, and grandfather, Frank Jankowski has edited and contributed to various publications, including government handbooks, technical journals, and church newsletters. He attended Union College in Schenectady, New York, for his undergraduate degree and received master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Cincinnati. He is also a graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology, Air Force Test Pilot School, and Air War College.

Jankowski is active in numerous professional science organizations. A native of New York, he has lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Jersey and now resides in New Mexico, where he enjoys hiking, model making, painting and sketching, and collecting Native American art.
