We're talking 71 minutes of good music here. The new version of old classics sound good. I love all the fast songs and even the slow ones are good for relaxin'. THis is definitely a good buy if you want to have a CD that none of your friends have. I pop this CD in my ride and everybody's like what kind of music is this, its dope, never heard anything like it. I'm the only one that spends money on Import CDs and I tell you this Import CD you must buy. You hear all these cheezy backstreet boys and Nsync type boyish bands on the radio and it makes you sick. Modern Talking is for the older audience who appreciates the good sounds of euro-dance. And for all the people that give this CD 1 star or 2, they're whack cuz they expect too much and they don't appreciate the good music of Modern Talking. They still have their soul after all these years.

.
Their old songs in a modern dance style and a few new songs.
My favourites are:
You're My Heart, You're My Soul '98 (Classic Mix - available on Maxi-CD)
04 Cheri Cheri Lady '98
13 Anything Is Possible (the best MT song after Re-union)
15 Angie's Heart '98
If you want to listen to all their hits, then you should buy "The Final Album"(2003).

I recently bought this album and it's great. I missed them so much through these years and I'm glad they are back. If you want a good music in your CD player, buy it! Good songs from 80's in the new versions. I grew up listening to Modern Talikng and I still do,even that I'm little bit older!!!

Having been introduced to this group just recently via "The Collection" they would be a hit in the States esp. on the dance scene with this new CD.
Some of the slower tracks are very interesting to listen to with the new remixed (totally remixed) music with the original lyrics. Unfortunately some dance tracks seem to only have the bass intensified and the beat cranked up about 1/2 again and then called a remix! Like some goon was set loose on the mixing board and told to just go for it!
Those dance tracts that are a real remix or have some additional vibes are great--i.e. the rip at the beginning of "Brother Louie", will send a chill up the spine!
Unfortunately I think only the die hard fans will appreciate this CD, newcomers best start out with the originals just to get the feel of it then move up to this.

Unfortunately Amazon only has up to 5 stars for the rating music here... this CD can be rated 10 stars on a scale of 1 - 5! If you are a Modern Talking fan get it! It is fantastic... the remixes of the classics such as "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" is just too much! Even the new releases are good. Especially "Anything Is Possible". Though it sounds like a Blue System song (well Dieter wrote it right), but Anders singing style, and the beat still works... it rocks man! You must get this CD!!! If you are not a Modern Talking fan get it too. You will be converted. The tempo is just too much man... gives a 90s tempo... you'll feel like you want to dance... Get one today and try it out... trust me its worth every penny!

Thomas Anders & Dieter Bohlen finally reunite on essentially a greatest hits album that has turned into a massive European smash.Although a few new tracks have been included, it is the updating of previous hits with harder beats and crisper edges that is catching the ears of old and new fans. "You're My HeartYou're My Soul 98" is the best track here, updated with a conventional but catchy rap that creates the same hi-nrg sound of Real McCoy, etc. "Brother Louie 98" falls in the same vein but you'll need to purchase the maxi-single CDs on both singles to hear the most energized rap-fused versions. The new songs are somewhat less inspiring, sounding a bit like left-over tracks that never made it onto their old albums. But it's still a fun comeback disc and it's great to have them back together. It's somewhat unexpected hit status is also paving the way for a hi-nrg dance music genre resurgence and offering a means for other artists like Fancy and Bad Boys Blue (both of whom have new comeback hits discs out...and if you love Modern Talking, you surely love these guys as well) to return to the spotlight.
