This is a good toy car with cool special effects.

It is all plastic. I would prefer it was metal though.

The plastics can get scratched, so care needs to be taken.

This degree of realism and craftsmanship that went into this Time traveling De Lorean from Back To The Future is absolutely stunning! The sound clips from the movie are well articulated and clearly understandable. When you push the button for the sounds when you hear the "Time Circuit On" sound the CORRESPONDING SECTION oF THE CAR LIGHTS UP! When you hear the "Time Re Entry" sound, the DASHBOARD SECTION Lights up as well as the rear taillights AND headlights,Back to the Future: Time Machine Mark I Car simply incredible! This replica of the sci fi classic Back To The Future Time Traveling De Lorean is a valuable part of my sci fi collection. Plus the fact that it is in 1/15th scale literally dwarfs any other of the many car models in my collection. So overall, I would rate this Diamond Select a five in all categories.

I love this thing. I am a big fan of Back to the future and never had a toy of the car. The flux capacitor lights up. (that's what makes time travel possible.) It makes all of the awesome sound effects like when the car won't start at the end when marty is going back to the future. the only thing it doesn't do is time travel and leave flaming tire tracks. awesome

Bought this for my son (11). He is a big Back to the Future fan. It was everything we expected and it is built well.

I love it! Awesome for fans of the movie! Only thing is that it says that there are many sound effects. I only get the same sound effect every time and it never changes. I hope that I didn't get a defective unit. Having said that...I still love it!!! Very cool!

I love the BTTF series and when this thing came out I was bouncing off the walls. The car is amazing. It makes all the cool sounds from the movie. It is so movie accurate. However the DMC logo isn't there because of copyrighting issues. Well the car is perfect for any BTTF lover and I enjoy it very much.

The car is awesome! Great item for any Back to Future fan, I noticed that one of the back lights don't work though :/ kind of sucks, but otherwise the car is great!

The Back to the Future movies are my oldest sons favorite! We used to watch them over and over and over again. My son is now seventeen and when I saw this car I knew it would be the perfect gift for him. He loves it. It brings back memories for me of when he was much younger.

Great for kids who love the movies. Maybe not for the avid BTTF collector, but for kids who want the real Dolorean to play with, its perfect. Fairly sturdy, doors open, lights up, great sound effects, and "flux capacitor fluxxing"!

I have to say that I am extremely impressed with this Model/Toy car from Back to the Future. The car has amazing detail as you can see from the photos that someone else posted on Amazon. The doors on the car open, the dashboard lights up, the flux capacitor lights up, and the headlights and tail-lights also glow! The sounds (like engine startup and time-travel sounds) are nice and loud. It's truly an impressive Toy all-round. If you end of getting this car, make sure you open the hood and change the switch off of demo mode. This will enable more sounds and lights than in the "Demo" mode. The Car comes with pre-installed batteries too! As another reviewer already mentioned, make sure you hold the button down for 30 seconds to make the car go into power-up time-travel sounds and then into power down from time travel sounds. It's awesome! I wish there were more models/toys with this level of detail and engineering. For example, it'd be cool if this company made Tron Cars/Light-cycles too! Hey, I'm just putting it out there! :)
