Editorial Reviews

Product Description
One of the foggiest of death metal bands, going all the way back to 1991, Sweden's Grave plays pretty straightforward, low-end, riff-heavy death metal. This is a way-better-than-average release in a generally tired genre from a group of very able veterans. Includes a bonus disc with all three of their classic demos on CD for the first time! 'Sick Disgust Eternal' (1988), 'Sexual Mutilation' (1989) & 'Anatomia Corporis Human' (1989). Century Media. 2003.

5.0 out of 5 stars Killer Death Metal!, February 22, 2003
By "cyberpython" (Annville, Pa United States) - See all my reviews
Excellent new album from the gods of death metal. Sounds alot like their old stuff, such as Into the Grave and Soulless. They haven't released any new material in the last few years, but this was definately worth the wait! Any true Death-Metal head will be begging for more!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good way to get earliest Demos, April 26, 2005
Although the production isn't exactly spectacular - for the diehard Grave fan, the 2nd bonus CD (obviously in the limited edition 2 CD set) has 3 of their very early Demos:

SICK, DISGUST, ETERNAL (1988 - Demo)

01. INTO THE GRAVE
02. ANNIHILATED GODS
03. INFERNAL MASSACRE

SEXUAL MUTILATION (1989 - Demo)

04. DEFORMED
05. REALITY OF LIFE
06. MORBID WAY TO DIE
07. SEXUAL MUTILATION

ANATOMIA CORPORIS HUMANI (1989 - Demo)

08. EXTREMELY ROTTEN FLESH
09. BRUTALLY DECEASED
10. SEPTIC EXCREMENTS
11. REBORN MISCARRIAGE

Jorgen Sandstrom - Vocals & Rhythm Guitar
Ola Lindgren - Lead Guitar & Bass / Vocals on tracks 1/5/9
Jensa Paulsson - Drums / Vocals on track 2

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome., December 10, 2003
By Ryan (Calgary, AB Canada) - See all my reviews
Just kick-your-ass death metal man... nothing fancy. If you're looking for something that blends 5 different genres in 15-minute epics or anything of the like, you've come to the wrong place... you're better off sticking to Opeth and other such things. If you like any of the old school death metal or things off the Century Media label such as Into Eternity, Vital Remains, Dark Tranquility, Divine Empire... you should love this. Just heavy heavy music that you won't be able to stop banging your head to. Every riff will kick your ass harder and harder.

3.0 out of 5 stars Why does Grave even bother anymore ?
This 2 CD release had potential, but the album goes no where. Grave have not released a good CD since Soulless, and I find that album a little too tame for what Grave once was... Read more
