Healing from yeast overgrowth, March 5, 2006
This review is from: Back to Health: A Comprehensive Medical and Nutritional Yeast Control Program (Paperback)
Reading this book changed my life forever. Following Dr. Remington's sound advice and treatment plan restored my health after an illness other doctors didn't know how to treat. Candida overgrowth can cause anxiety, headaches, food allergies, and baffling fatigue, while treating it can help combat fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, behavioral and learning problems in children, and other "uncurable" illnesses. As long as our society consumes antibiotics in our meat and milk and refined flours and sugars by the ton, more and more of us will need to read this book.

This book delivered!, September 13, 2010
This review is from: Back to Health: A Comprehensive Medical and Nutritional Yeast Control Program (Paperback)
I actually purchased this book in my allergist's office. He felt that this book was superior to others, strongly enough to carry it in his office and ask all patients to purchase. If someone didn't want to purchase the book, he'd lend it to you.
I have suffered allergies my entire life, and since a teenager I have suffered from endometriosis. I saw my allergist at a time when I couldn't wear earrings, breath in anything with a scent, or wear clothes or use a towel without a reaction. My body was in overdrive, and I was miserable.
I admit the first few days of this diet are hell! I ended up adding one cheat of coffee, but adhered strictly to the diet in all other aspects. I began to notice that scents didn't stop my breathing, my ears stopped turning bright red from earrings, the small bumps that were appearing all over my thighs and stomach disappeared. It was amazing.
Now with a recent fibromyalgia diagnosis, I realize the need to go back on the diet, and adhere to it more in my everyday life. It's not always easy, but having my health is worth it.

best book on candida albicans, February 23, 2011
This review is from: Back to Health: A Comprehensive Medical and Nutritional Yeast Control Program (Paperback)
If you want the best book out there on candida albicans, get this one. Easy to understand, easy to implement. This book is especially friendly toward those sufferers who may not have a doctor unwilling or inexperienced in treating this problem or any doctor at all. I live in a remote, medically underserved area, and i have no insurance, and i was still able to follow and get huge benefits from the program in this book. I lost this book for awhile and read two other books on candida, all this while searching for "Back to Health"! Was dissappointed in the other books. When I finally located this one again I was so happy! At 250 pages, a lot thinner than the other books too.
