I had this book before I entered into youth ministry. I have acquired an number of youth ministry resources during my 8 years in full time ministry but I find myself going back to this one year after year.

If I was to recommend one book for any youth pastor, especially an upcoming youth pastor, this would be the book. Written by one of the foremost youth leaders of our day, Dewey provides the reader with the biblical wisdom to begin developing your own philosophy for youth ministry. Buy this book!
