A masterpiece that was largely ignored,

By the time this album was released in 1991, it seems that all but his dedicated fans had lost interest in Kenny's music so few people even bothered to listen to what was on this album. That's their loss for this is one of Kenny's finest. Perhaps the absence of any hit that has been played to death on radio helps - without such a song it is possible to appreciate every song. Nevertheless, I'm convinced that a major hit would have emerged from this album if any single from it had been given a fair chance by the radio stations.
The album features several star guests as backing vocalists including Linda Davis, two of the Gatlin brothers, the lead singer of Restless Heart and two members of McBride and the Ride. Trisha Yearwood is not among the guests though she co-wrote one of the songs (How do I break it to my heart). As far as I know, Trisha never recorded her own version of the song. That's a pity because it's a great song. If you want to find love, an infectious, upbeat song, would surely have been a huge hit if Kenny had been fashionable at the time. The outstanding ballad is Someone must feel like a fool tonight. Kenny must love Sunshine - he recorded the song back in his First Edition days and chose to re-record it for this album. There are many great songs here, mainly ballads, all performed superbly by Kenny. If you are a Kenny Rogers fan, buy this album. You won't regret it.

I would recomend this album to all Kenny Rogers fans. It has some really great songs on it that I think are just excellent. Some of the best ones include "Bed Of Roses", "They Just Don't Make Them Like You Anymore", "When You Were Loving Me", and "Some Prisons Don't Have Walls". Great album for any Kenny fan!

I Feel Like A Fool,

The track "Someone Must Feel Like A Fool Tonight" is one of the prettiest songs that I know of and it's a great waltz song.
Guys: Take a couple waltz lessons and invite your girl to dance with you to this song and she will melt in your arms.
