Book Description

December 31, 2003
Napoleon once said, "When China is moved it will change the face of the globe." Today those words are becoming a reality through the powerful spiritual vision of the Chinese church to send 100,000 missionaries across China's borders to complete the Great Commission, even in this generation! Here Brother Yun, Peter Xu Yongze, and Enoch Wang, three Chinese house church leaders who between them have spent more than 40 years in prison for their faith, explain the history and present-day reality of the Back to Jerusalem movement. Christians everywhere who are called to fulfill the Great Commission will be thrilled by this testimony and inspired to live bolder lives as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"The Gospel came to them [the Chinese] from the West, having spread from Jerusalem. Now there is a burning passion to see the Gospel's further spread west and south through the great unreached areas of the world, full circle back to Jerusalem. It's the dynamic vision of a dynamic church and could be the greatest missionary force in our world in the coming decade. It is therefore essential for anyone involved in the world of missions to read this book. Peter Maiden International Director of Operation Mobilization

5.0 out of 5 stars I urge you to read this book!, May 7, 2005

I have written a number of book reviews for Amazon and tried to make them helpful and somewhat objective. But in this case I simply want to say to any who call themselves Christians - I URGE YOU TO READ THIS BOOK! I cannot approve on the good reviews that have already been written. I can only say that those who name the name of Christ must read this book and ask themselves if the commitment of the Church in China represents their/my commitment or not. I found I had a great deal of repenting to do.

The book is well written and interesting and needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting, Encouraging, Uplifting!, January 11, 2005

This review is from: Back to Jerusalem: Three Chinese House Church Leaders Share Their Vision to Complete the Great Commission (Paperback)
I've read 3 books recently about the Christian movement in the nation of China. This one is the best in my opinion. Much more than just history, but the vision of the Chinese Christian church. 1.2 Billion people, of whom approximately 100 Million are now Christians. China has been at the forefront of God's work in the late 1900's, and this will continue well into the 2000's. This book is a quick read, but is packed with testimonies, visions, and plans for the future of the Chinese missionary movement. What's really exciting is their plan to send a minimum of 100,000 Chinese missionaries into the Middle East; it's actually already begun, and this book chronicles the dream that the people believe God has placed in their heart.

4.0 out of 5 stars A provoking story, January 11, 2004

A very challenging and provoking story of God's current move amoung the Chinese house church. It deeply touched me and I felt "connected" to the vision of these remarkable people. I would like to be captivated by the same passion they have. I would encourage anyone with a true love for Jesus to read this book.
