It's a good textbook. Has all kinds of English tips and techniques from an eclectic group of prominent writers, and dozens of example writings and essays.

It's a shame that two of the other reviewers had to bring the rating down so far with their own stupidity.

My English Composition (I) class required this book for the reading material, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the information in the reading was enlightening, and the instructive portions of the book were easy to follow without coming off as dreary or monotonous. Overall, it has well rounded points of view expressed in the stories, and the writings inside were enjoyable as well.

This is the book that was chosen by the professor for the class. We use it for compare and contrast. It has some interesting things in it and provides help on essay writing.

The product exceeded my expectations. There is very useful information throughout the book and has examples of essays throughout, too.

This book is great! I used it for my English 101 Class. Easy to read and navigate. But if you don't need the questions don't waste your money, because you can get the articles off the internet for free from a variety of resources.
