Shawn Desman has definitely grown into the man that he is today. With a hot new album out, 13 sizzling tracks, there is only one thing i can say....The man is on fire!! Shawn tears it up with his new album, definitely showing a more sophisticated and mature side. The first single, "Lets Go" is already a chart topping hit. The 2nd single, "Red Hair" is going to be the same. Each track on the album is produced well with great lyrics and style. The best songs on the album include: "Insomniac", "Red Hair", "She Ain't Comin Back", "Back For More", "What If" and "Man In Me". Shawn's album is definitely something u want to add to your music collection. It is worth every penny and its one you will not regret. That is a guarantee.

Best CD of 2005 hands down. I love me some Shawn Desman and I was impressed with the first album, but this just blew me away. I used to work at Jamba Juice nd when we would close, I would pop this CD on. Being that I'm in the US, nobody knew who he was. But let me tell you, a week later - I had all my employees singing all the words. Seriously. LoL It was a wrap after that. No more "Shawn Desman who?"

Back For More - Straight club banger. I can't tell you how many people have laughed at me on the subway jammin to this one LoL

Let's Go - HOTTNESS. Shawn is gettin his freak on. LoL Great choice for the first single (also my ringtone now)

Sexy - not my favorite, but it's a Darkchild track. I'm not big on Darkchild. But Shawn still made it hott.

Ooh - Gettin his freak on again. LoL

Insomniac - He's got it bad. LoL Girl is drivin him wild

Hurt - She done did him wrong on this one. And he doesn't understand LoL

Red Hair - I wasn't sure if I liked this one at first. But the more I listened, the more it grew on me. The beat is sick and it's another one of those ones I gotta wild out to on the train. LoL

She Ain't Coming Back - SICK BEATS SON!

Nobody - probably my favorite song on the album. Shawn KILLED the vocals on this one. This is me and my boyfriend's song. Can't beat it.

What If - this one'll hit you in the heart if you're missing someone.

Man In Me - HALARIOUS. I know madd people who can relate to this one. LmAo "every two week, she call da po-lice. every two weeks, ya boy gotta leave... then in 2 weeks, she's back with me... Ohhhh" LoLoL

That's Love - cutsie wootsie song LoL

Butterflies - probably my second favorite song. This one'll hit you in the heart too, especially if you're in a relationship where feelings are changing and you just want things back the way they were. Shawn killed the vocals on this one too.



Butterflies and Nobody were 2 songs that gave me chills. And I don't think that's ever occured for me with songs that were on the same album. And he's got so many great upbeat tracks that you can just bounce too. This album is on fire. Period. Nuff said. Buy it. LoL

Oh my god! i have waiting for this cd to come out since a long time. Then now that I finally got it, I dont regret it at all!
This cd is very good and it proves that even if he's not very popular, he's very talented! You know some artists are popular when they shoud'nt (like Ashlee simpson ) and some are not when they should be. Well it's all up to you guys! Oh and please If you are a shawn Desman fan, go buy the cd, it worth it.

I love this artist. I first came upon him while watching the movie "Honey". I loved the song "Sexy" that was featured in the film, so I went and bought the CD. It turned out to be my favorite CD, and he soon became my favorite artist. I am, at the moment, waiting on his new release to come out. I even went back and bought all of the singles and previous recordings that I could find on him. His music seems to touch all bases for me. He has the right beat, a great voice, looks and can be soft if you are having one of those days! Every time I play his songs, my girls are always asking where I came up with it... I recommend lots!

While i enjoyed Shawn's first cd a bit. I was more hoping that his 2nd one "Back for More" would be on fire. Well it is safe to say that it is and while it took a bit for me to write this. I've been listening to this one a lot in my Ipod. No matter what song you flip to on this cd. You will Shawn doing what his does best, singing it with a passion and intensity that you cant help love and recommend to others.

He should be blowing up big time over here in the States. I know he had a song "Sexy" in the movie Honey with Jessica Alba and he appears in the movie for a bit. That's how i got to know anything about him in the first place. With a fly as hell beat that just wont quit that one song is seriously the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this cd.

There are songs here for any and everybody that you will find yourself singing or dancing along to in no time at all. It isnt an extremely long cd, but it isnt over with in the blink of an eye either. It gives you the chance to get into all that is going with cd and enjoy it as well. So, if your looking for someone and something that's a bit different and a nice change of pace in the whole music scene. Then check out Shawn Desman's "Back for More" he's here for more on this one and compared to the first which was cool.

The second time is the charm for this up and coming artist. So don't sleep on him because i know he'll back for round 3 again soon. You can bet that his next Cd will be fire just like this one. So enjoy i havent stopped enjoying since i bought it over a year ago.

I first heard of Shawn Desman after watching the movie "Honey" featuring Jessica Alba. On a whim I bought the CD - i do not understand why he is not more popular in our country! Especially compared with a lot of current R/B artists out now, he is much better. Definitely a CD to enjoy!

In a world where Britney is running out of bathrooms barefoot, Jessica Simpson is still unsure if she is eating chicken or tuna, and people are telling the likes of Jesse McCartney and Lindsay Lohan they can sing, it is nice to find an actual (keyword: actual) artist who writes and sings his own music! This is definately a great album! Each song is catchy and makes you want to hit the replay button over and over!

1. BACK FOR MORE - Starts the album off with a good track, but
it is not the best on the album. A good dance song with nice
vocals. (4/5)
2. LET'S GO - GOD I LOVE THIS SONG! It has such an infectious
80's beat and is great to sing to. This puts Usher's "Yeah" to
shame. (10/5)
3. SEXY - Another up-beat track. The "Bounce Bounce Bounce" and
"Clap your hands" gets annoying real fast. Also features DMX.

4. OOH - Features some more great 80's background beats. Another
up tempo song. (4/5)
5. INSOMNIAC - The first mid tempo song on the album. It's not as
fast paced as the first four songs, which is a nice change of
pace. The sound of the rain drop in the background gets a tad
annoying, but his vocals go over most of it. Still great!

6. HURT - The song starts off real quiet and slow, but then it
picks up to another great song! This shoud definately be
considered a single here in the U.S. (5/5)
7. RED HAIR - Second single and honestly it is not one of my
favorites. The beat is nice, but the chorus gets a little
repetitive. Still nice upbeat song to listen to. (3/5)
8. SHE AIN'T COMING BACK - After three slower songs, Shawn turns
up the volume with this filler track. Good song, but once
again, far from my favorite. (4/5)
9. NOBODY - A PERSONAL FAVORITE! His vocals have never better on
this ballad and the chorus is awesome! Definately needs to be
a single! Guarantee a smash hit! (10/5)
10.WHAT IF - Shawn wrote this about his grandfather and it is
another personal favorite of mine as I lost my grandfather
too. Another great ballad! (5/5)
11.MAN IN ME - Pepping it up again with another upbeat track.
Definately some interesting lyrics in this song (After
two weeks, she's calling the police?) Good song no matter
what. (4/5)
12.THAT'S LOVE - Finally, another dance song to bring up the
album. Good beats and great vocals. (5/5)
13.BUTTERFLIES - Wow! Simply amazing! Five minutes of flawless
vocals! He knows how to end the album on a great note! (10/5)

He really needs to release this album in the U.S. so our ears may heal from the shrieking of so-called singers Lindsay or Britney! I suggest buying it imported or of course downloading it! (Legally, of course!)
