I've been carrying around a small cushion for my back and have tried several of the foam lumbar cushions, too. While they helped, they did not quite do the job. I have been having bad lumbar/sacral pain/spasms. My physical therapist had me try this in her office. I simply could not believe how perfect it is! It looks so cheap, but it does the job wonderfully. It is light as a feather, low profile, and adapts to any chair you sit in (plus it has a strap to hang on the chair). Make sure to underinflate it so the air can move with you. I love it so much and got such relief that I bought 2 (1 to keep in the van so I can take wherever I go...and 1 to keep at home.) It made a huge difference in the office chair at the computer and on the kitchen chair when eating, wicker chair etc. I like it so much I am going to buy a couple more so I doon't have to constantly move them from room to room. Honest to goodness, I really do not work for the company--they SHOULD pay me for this review, though--Ha!Ha!

I started recommending this pillow almost 20 years ago as a physical therapist treating patients with neck and back pain. Almost everyone can benefit from good posture and most of us have to sit more than we would like. This pillow is inflatable and so you only fill it with enough air to help you balance your head. Do NOT over inflate. You may only need a few puffs of air to get the support you need once you lean back on it. It should fit in the small of your back and be anchored to the chair (comes with straps). You need a support in the chairs you sit most. This pillow is perfect for air travel, and I've also used it in the car and at home and been very pleased with it. You only have to blow 2-3 breaths in to get it to a comfortable position. And if you're using it for travel, when you let the air out it folds up into something very compact and light that's easy to throw in your bag. I liked this so much I bought one for my dad too!

Ordered this pillow on the recommendation of a friend who swore by it. I'd been in therapy for my back and faced a six hour flight to Europe. Purchasing it was a last minute decision, but it arrived so quickly I had it for my trip. Great for travel. Defleated it weighs very little, packs nearly flat and I tucked it in my carry-on. Easy to inflate (and you just fill it up to get your personal comfort level), it really was a life-saver (back-saver) on the plane. Now I use it at home in my office chair. Worth every cent.

I received a Medic-Air Back Pillow as a gift at least 20 years ago. They last and last but finally they will give out like all good things; I always get another one immediately. When driving my car, there is a huge difference in the way I feel during driving and when I arrive some place if I go without my pillo. My back starts hurting right away and eventually my legs have shooting pains to my feet. So I leave a pillo in my car all the time. This pillo is as good as physical therapy. I've given them as gifts and recommended to my friends and family.

This pillow is great for traveling - it's lightweight and needs only a few breaths of air in it to be used. I won't go on a plane without it. I take it to the movies, theatre, and use it in the car. I have a lower back problem and this is the most comfortable pillow ever. The only problem is that it doesn't last forever. The plug that keeps the air in eventually breaks so you have to buy a new one. Even so, I think it's a great product. It was recommended by my nephew who is a physical therapist.

the most comfortable sitting position.This is accomplished by filling the pillow with air,then sit with the back pillow behind,and choose whatever is best to
be relaxed in.I am able to sit back in my chair and work at my desk and feel good with this back support inflatable pillow.I am happy with this back support pillow.
I am able to bring this pillow with me everywhere I go,whenever I travel.

As a court reporter, who at times has to sit for 4 hours at a time, I can attest that this pillow does the job. I travel to different offices for my job, and, therefore, have to sit in a wide variety of chairs. I just pull this out of my bag, give it 2 puffs, and it's heaven for my back. I have short legs, and this helps fill in that gap between my back and the front edge of the seat, and allows for a more upright position.

Pillow works great for back support at work where the desk chairs are crap.
Inflates to the amount of air comfortable for your use. Would recommend
this unit to everyone looking for a back pillow to use at work.

I do a lot of writing and needed a comfortable back pillow. I tried different pillows and finally found this. It provides good back support. I highly recommend it to those who want good back support while sitting at their desks. I read the reviews which helped me quite a bit. Great for the price. Also, perfect travel partner in an airplane. Highly recommended.
