The customer service from the ComposTumbler number is excellent. Mine came with a defective door latch and they immediately sent me another.

This would be best if you also have a large compost pile or bin somewhere else in your yard. Sadly, you miss having worms be part of the process since the composter is not on the ground, tho fruit files seem to like it just fine.

Easy to wheel around, medium to assemble, looks more attractive than a pile or open bin. Put your open bin in the far recesses of your yard and have this one handy by the kitchen door!

We bought one, but really should have two (or three). When one is full and "composting," we need another to add stuff to. They suggest putting a catch basin under the unit to collect the "compost tea," but it needs to be very flat and wide. It's hard to get the holes on the bottom lined up with a narrow collector and you can't use anything very tall.

This was fairly easy to put together and I add things to it every day. So far I'm very happy with it.
