EXCELLENT PERSONNEL, EXCELLENT RECORDING ON CRISS CROSS. BRIAN LYNCH - TPT; JAVON JACKSON - TENOR SAX; DAVID HAZELTINE - PNO; PETER WASHINGTON - ST BASS AND LEWIS NASH DRUMS. SOMEWHAT LIKE THE 60'S LEE MORGAN SESSIONS ON BLUE NOTE, ALTHOUGH THE RHYTHM SECTION HERE HAS A LIGHTER, MORE MODERN TOUCH. INTERESTING ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS.
