This review is from: Back to Back: Sense of Direction / Stamp Album (Audio CD)
Bought this to get better sounding copies than my old LPs. My comment and complaint is the audio quality of this CD issue. First track revealed to me what sounds like heavy overuse of noise reduction for the CD mastering, which for example dulls the sound of drumsticks on cymbals at the first of "Amerita/Sense of Direction", my old vinyl record on Sire label the sound is very clear. This is prevalent throughout. The extra tracks are a nice "Plus" to have.
