About the Author

Gwynn Morgan, who also writes erotic romance as Deirdre O'Dare, has loved reading and writing since early childhood. She started writing—simple verses and paraphrases of Nancy Drew and Zane Gray—before she was out of grade school and finally settled into romantic fiction in the last decade after leaving her "day job" as a civilian employee of the U.S. Army. She lives in Arizona and frequently sets her stories in the Southwest she knows and loves, but now and then another locale calls to her creativity and she strays, even as far as prehistoric Greece and places that exist only in her imagination.

Gwynn Morgan, lifelong southwest resident, finds endless inspiration in the natural beauty, ethnic diversity, colorful history and marvelous variety of the American southwest. She brings a strong flavor of this exciting region into every one of her novels which she calls "romantic adventures."

Bitten hard and early by the writing bug, she wrote her first verse at age eight and soon afterwards began to try her hand at fiction. Serious pursuit of a writing career was put on hold while she went to college, found employment with the U.S. Government, married and raised a family. Finally after ending a twenty-five year civil service career, she found her niche in writing romance--but romance with a unique Southwest Ambience.
