This is a must-read book for any woman who has gone through a divorce. Ginger Emas has such a wonderful writer's voice - funny, warm, irreverent and wise. It makes the reader feel like she's having a conversation with a good friend. The mixture of practical advice, laugh out loud humor and insight is very compelling, especially when it comes to the dating stories. There's Chad, the fitness fanatic who Ginger turned to the dark side with a chocolate espresso martini, Volleyball Orgasm Guy ( a story that oddly enough involved clothes staying on), and visits to off-the-wall singles events that make you clamor for a night at home alone with a pint of chocolate chip ice cream instead. What a timely, scintillating book, especially when it comes to post-divorce dating advice for the 35 and over crowd!

I was exceited to read Gingers book from the Amazon description however when it arrived and I got into the meat of the book I was slightly disappointed. It is written in a "flip" style with much self deprecation, quick to the chase and not a lot of detail. Maybe that is what most people prefer. The book I enjoyed more is "Make Every Man Want You" by Marie Forleo-she empowers you and sets the case for YOU are so wonderful the guys are fools not to go for You!

This book is a lighthearted, fun read for anyone out there in the dating pool. It can be fun and this book reminds you how to just enjoy it rather than see it as a chore.

You can't help but be in a better mood when you read this book. Ginger Emas should do stand up comedy. She has such a great tone and sense of humor and the stories she tells will make you laugh until you cry. But she also has some spot on dating advice that all women should read--divorced or not. If you're feeling down, alone, or intimidated by the dating scene, pick up this book before you reach for that ice cream and a movie. Again. Seriously. She's the Carrie Bradshaw of Atlanta--she should have her own column.

This book is a must read for anyone re-entering the dating world after divorce. Emas provides great information about how to navigate the online dating scene in addition to sharing her own experiences as she conducted her "field research". Both witty and wise, the reader is left feeling as though Emas has her arm around you as she talks you through a pretty scary transition time. That's a great gift to anyone facing that first first date after divorce.

This book is hysterical. My sister and I were reading it aloud yesterday and laughing soooo hard!!! It is the kind of book all women can appreciate and get a good laugh out of!

Hilarious! I laughed out loud and couldn't put it down. I felt like I was having a conversation with my best friend and I didn't want it to end. A must-read! I'm going to recommend this book to all of my friends divorced or not! It's for anyone who's ever dated. Very entertaining - I can't wait for the movie!

What a refreshing book. From the first chapter I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. A must read for anyone male (to get a good perspective inside the mind of a divorcee)or female. I have already received rave reviews from friends I recommended it too...thanks!

It's really as simple as Ginger wrote - it's just dating! We don't have to like them, they don't have to like us and there are plenty to choose from! Relax and have fun. It's our time now!
