Remember this girls name..It won't be long before she is racking up awards and gold albums, with this no doubt being her first. Not only does she have a voice to die for, Anita plays the guitar and has written several of the songs on this CD. She has a wide vocal range reminisant of such greats as Tammy Wynette, Barbara Mandrell and Wynonna. There is not one bad song on this CD..A few plays and you will be singing along and waiting anxiously for the next CD from Anita.

A great singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer who still really loves country. If the industry is looking for the future of the sound, it should quit all the pop prom queen nonsense and line up behind her blazing Telecaster!

I can't wait to hear more from Anita Cochran. I knew from hearing her at many of our Church revivals that Anita would make it someday. Way to go Anita! Keep the music coming, I'm looking forward to your next album.

I imported Anita's CD for a small fortune from my local musicstore in Stockholm, Sweden. Since then, it realy must be the most frequently played CD in my collection. I've had it in my car since then. I'm a musicengineer and listen to a lot of "great stuff" but this one is special. I find Anita to be more a songwriter/musician than a singer, but in a way this does the trick and gives the album it's personal feel. Anita's voice is not overpolished and the recording shows great soundengineering. I love beautiful songs that lifts one up at the chorus. And I must say I'm realy flyin' high and hunger for the chorus to come when I listen to "She wants to ride". Superb musicarrangements of genuine countrymusic like in "Back to You". I hope to be able to record and produce such a great CD one day. Thanx Anita for writing and performing such great songs. Keep it country.....

Great cd from one of the best living female country-western singers. I am also glad that 2 songs from the Dukes of Hazzard go to Hollywood are on this cd.

I didn't like this album quite as much as Anita's second album, the self-titled one. HOwever, there's no doubt that Anita shows herself on this debut album to have real talent. My favorite tunes on here are:

I Could Love a Man Like That - very energetic
You're the Break
One of Those Days
Girls Like Fast CArs - energetic and fun song about women also being into muscle cars.

Wrong Side of Town - a slower tune, but I like it. Has real thought to it.

The songs between I Could Love a Man Like That and You're the Break are pretty unremarkable and wind up being "fill" really. For that reason, I can't give out 5 stars. 4 is appropriate and a solid album. Good start for Anita. Haven't heard from her since her 2nd album tho. Too bad, she had real promise.

This was a good buy. It got it sooner than expected and was still in the wrapper like advertised.

JUST WANTED TO SAY I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE CD. ALSO GOT IT VERY QUICKLY.
