One of the BIGGEST complaints on a LONG/Hard backpack trip is the Food; whether it isn't good tasting, hard to prepare or not very nutrious; HERE is the book to solve thsoe problems. Taste tested on thousands of students in the field, for over 40 years and with LOTS of creativity!!

I beg of you, stay away from this book. The purchase of this book is the equivalent of starting your campfire with dollar bills. It is replete with information that can readily be found by performing a simple internet search for general nutritional guidelines. I'm serious, I have never been so clearly ripped off. Pick up a copy of the USDA food pyramid and you'll be just as educated then if you read this book. You have been warned.
