Great off-the-beaten-tract ski tours, March 22, 2008
This review is from: Backcountry Skiing Utah, 2nd (Backcountry Skiing Series) (Paperback)
I'm very pleased with this guide book. It's taken me to many places I would not have thought to go ski touring. Whenever our small group of ski tourers gets tired of the tri-canyon SLC area, we break out Bradley's book and head someplace new for the day. It's a must have for the serious Utah ski tourer.

great if you're serious about the backcountry, May 15, 2010
This review is from: Backcountry Skiing Utah, 2nd (Backcountry Skiing Series) (Paperback)
I recently moved from MT to Utah and I love going into the backcountry with my splitboard (and a buddy/shovel/probe/transceiver/avalanche report of course!). This book describes in great detail what the terrain is like (both in terms of steepness, difficulty and avalanche danger); what time of the year is best to hit a particular area; and which are the best approach routes.
