I wanted to like this collection. I love short stories. Especially friction fiction. But the lack of an editor or proofreader makes this almost unreadable. In the story, Boys Know What Boys Like, the vacationing homeowner, Emilio changes gender, becoming Emily. The helpful neighbor Les is male and is described as "butch." So, is it just being bitchy to refer to Les as HER? So ancient camp.

Let us hope this wasn't a straight story that was rewritten for the Gay market.

I'm a real fan of short stories because they show the potential for growth. Aside from a few types and immature grammar, these stories are quite fun. I think Mr. Reynolds should be encouraged to add more character growth in his next set of short stories.
