5.0 out of 5 stars Great for those late night races to the Engine, July 21, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Backdraft (Audio CD)
When our fire department bought our two new engines, we added AM/FM cassette players to them. One of our firefighters purchased two copies of the cassette version of this soundtrack, which has become our rallying cry. At three o'clock in the morning, when everyone is a little bleary-eyed and sleepy, the song "Fighting 17th" is what brings them to the ready. The songs from the movie "Backdraft" will always hold a place within these walls.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best movie scores ever!!, July 13, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Backdraft (Audio CD)
Hans Zimmer's score to Backdraft is very powerful, suspensul, and moving. "Fighting 17th" is an excellent overture for the film. "Burn It All" and "You Go, We Go" have the same suspensful feeling as that final fire scene in the movie. "Farenheit 451" is the funeral scene music and is very emotional. The Bruce Hornsby songs are just average but the score is 100% perfect. Don't Miss It!

Pop this into the CD player and play Iron Chef. I love the drama of this music.
