Nice thick material, not so smooth transition.,

This backdrop is made of nice heavy weight plastic material, which is nice for non-permanent portable set-ups. The only issue I have is that the transition from dark to light isn't as subtle as other backdrops that I've used. I'm not sure how much of an effect if any this will have on the photographs. I'll just have to wait and compare.
