All I can say is, it is exactly what it says it is: the Sharp-manufactured LCD screen for the Sony PSP. The backlight comes included all as one piece, which is good (one less delicate thing to have to take apart). Replacement was a challenge, because you really need micro-sized electronics screwdrivers, and those are not common, you're not just going to have one in your drawer. Get the right screwdriver (size#00) and it will MUCH easier. Works perfectly now, no dead pixels, and I would not hesitate to buy it again if I happen to break a screen again.

My son freaked when his PSP screen broke, and he figured it was time to trash his beloved game player. I was able to find an instructional repair video on line and went looking for a replacement screen. Turned out that Amazon beat eBay on price after adding the eBay sellers' ridiculous shipping charges, and I received the product two days after placing the order. I felt like a hero, though at fourteen, my son managed to contain his awe of how I fixed his PSP at a fraction of its replacement cost.

What were we going to do? By "we", I mean my 11 year old grandson & me. One day we had a full-functioning PSP...the next we had a PSP with a broken screen that couldn't be used at all. It looked like we were going to have to save up to buy another one - YIKES!

Through the Sony website, we learned that we could have the screen replaced, but would have to pay about half of what a new PSP would cost. Still over our budget.

We searched "Replacement Screen for PSP" on Amazon & found several options, including this one. Since the others were all more expensive & we didn't even know if we had the ability to fix it, we opted for this one since it was the "cheapest".

We ordered it very late on a Thursday night, it was shipped on Saturday, & we received it on Monday. It was packaged very securely & was exactly as described on Amazon.

My grandson found a video on the web that showed how to replace the screen & within 30 minutes, he had removed the broken screen, replaced it with the new one, & was back to doing all that he does with his "brand-new" PSP!

Overall, an extremely pleasant experience. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

i wasn't sure which one to pick when trying to switch my psp's screen.
it was broken and i saw two choices that looked the same and i don't know about the other one but this one is the EXACT screen that was inside my psp works like a charm.

The company shipped the screen fast. When I received the screen it had a decent sized scratch on it. I contacted the company and they suggested a few things to check. But when they did not work, I took pictures of the scratch for their view and have not heard from them since. Overall, they were very responsive and quick on shipping but when I probed them some more for where to go further on the scratch issue they were all the sudden silent. They are a good company but if you have a big issue be leary.

I ordered this product and it was exactly what i wanted. I didn't have to buy a whole new psp i just replaced the broken screen with this one.
I recommend it to anyone who broke there psp screen.

I purchased the PSP 2000/2001 LCD Screen replacement for my cracked screen from Closeouts Master. I cant belive it actually works. It came in a really protected box and I just used a youtube video to learn how to install it and there my broken psp screen fixed. Also it came super fast like a week or two after I odered it.
