Even though this is touted as a *wine* set, it's great for small picnics with the family. I have had this exact set for several years and we love it. Nice and roomy in the insulated storage side, and the bottle holder will of course hold something besides a wine bottle. Not too big or heavy even when full, it's perfect to have handy to grab and throw things in for spur of the moment hikes and picnics. We usually leave the wine glasses out, putting in water bottles instead. The quality is excellent and it's stood up well through many many uses.

I was a little disappointed in the quality of the Backpack Picnic set. It will do for occasional use but I don't think it will stand up to the rigors of weekly on monthly use. I changed the flatware because the stuff that came with the set is very cheap. It has everything you need for a picnic in the park or to take on a road trip.
