I replaced a Jacto sprayer with this one as I don't have as much to keep after anymore. This unit comes with instructions that are impossible to understand. Also, absolutely no information on how to attach the straps--I ended up tying them on the bottom with a knot. The sprayer functions OK but I do not expect it to last more than a year or so. Out of the box the item is ready to use as soon as the straps are adjusted, and the spray wand screwed into control handle. User manual is funny to read, and totally useless. Need english interpretation of the english manual LOL. This is an import, but country of origin could not be found on any of the packaging. Product however looks good in fit and finish, and quality of components. Spare parts are a plus, since sourcing replacement parts in the future my be an issue. The straps are a bit of an issue as packaged. Each side is looped through an ear at the top of the tank. On the opposite ends are clips, which when the straps are adjusted for length, attach to molded lip on bottom edge the tank. Figuring this out without the benefit of any specific pictures or instructions is a bit of a pain. Each strap also has a shoulder pad which needs to be slid up and over the strap adjustment buckles so that it sets at shoulders rather than the middle of your back. It looked like the pads were an after thought by the manufacturer, since they were neither positioned correctly nor adequate in size to properly cushion the weight of the tank and contents. Operation is easy, and sprays more than adequate for the job to be done. Considering most other backpack sprayers of this type are $70-$100, this is an economy model which I'll definitely get my moneys worth out of.
