This book was very disappointing. It has the words of the songs and lists some of the cords, you have to figure out the melody and everything else. Did not have any songs i even recognized, or at least very few. I sent it back

Weird but cool,

Description says this is a spiral-bound paperback songbook. Wrong - it is paperback. No spirals, which kept me from giving it 5 stars. Has a TON of songs in it, on top of having tuning guides, chords for both guitar and banjo. It's weird it has backpacking info in it, because I don't know anyone that carries a guitar while they backpack. I'm sure it's done, but..... As another poster commented, it does not show the rhythm for the song, you must know the song, but does give the chords. At this price it's worth just buying it.

For the price, this is a terrific little songbook. It is much cheaper than, say RISE UP SINGING, not to mention being smaller and more portable. And the selection of material is neat.
