This book is the only authorized biography of the five talented Backstreet Boys, and it gives so much information. This is a must read for every fan, as it will let you know the truth about the Boys. All the unofficial books leave out the stuff you really want to know. You can only read the same fact sheets so many times, but this will give you the real deal, right from the real beginning, and every Backstreet Boy gets his own chapter about their childhood (complete with baby pictures!) Go get it!

I think this was a great book.It's the only book that I have read that actually tells you the true story.This book tells you everything about them.Not like the other cheep imitation books that the writers them selves don't know anything about the backstreet boys.This was the only story I know that talks about the two (no longer) members of the backstreet boys before Kevin and Brian .There are no other books that even touch on that like this book did. Personaly this book made me laugh and cry,and I loved every word of it. Even if this book is not the best book in the world,it is deffinatly the best ever writen about the backstreet boys.Thank you very much.

I have read several books on the Backstreet Boys, i have been a huge fan of them for over 2yrs. And as much as i thought i knew them. I had NO idea of how much i didn't know until i read this book. It gave a tremendous insite on each of the Boys, life childhood and thier road to sucess in which and why they are where they are today. I was blown away with the imformation and professionalism this author used. I definatly recomend this book for any BSB fans or just someone who wants to learn more about them, or someone looking for a great biography. It also has some great photo's of the BSB from thier childhood up to now. This a truly remarkle book on the Backstreet Boys. And after reading this book you'll have a complete different outlook on the boys, you'll think of them not as huge massive pop stars. But just the sweet down to earth guys, we all dream of finding. hello people just a little note to help you out if you are thinking of buying this book. well for starters if you are thinking about it then its a good start. next if you are a new bsb fan you NEED this book. It is cramed full of info and pictures of the boys in there early stages. there is not a fact left out when it comes to how the boys got where they are today. So if you want to know all there is to know about how the boys met their first manager and how they nearly didn't get together then get this book. the bad thing about the book is that the pictures are a little dated, the boys look as if they are fresh out of nappies and in some of them they are in nappies but it is great to see how the boys have changed. well time to go but i hope this has helped i your decision. KEEP THE BACKSTREET PRIDE ALIVE LOTS OF HUGZ AND KISSEZ CAZ

This book is ssoooooooooooo awesome i ioved it any bsb fan who does not have this is stupid not to buy it . I now know practically everything about the 5 hottest guys around especially brian because i love him anybody could ask me anything about BSB now and I would know the answer so if your a true bsb fan you have to get this and remember KTBSBPAL

I wouldn't say it was the best book ever but it was fantastic. After reading the book I have learned so much about them. I loved reading how they all got started out in singing and how they grew up. I would have liked to read more about their present problems with each other and if they ever thought of quiting or anything else that is really personal. I would recommend this book to every Backstreet Boys fan because it has a lot of interviews from the Backstreet Boys aswell as their families. I love the book.

The author changed a lot of what were supposed to be direct quotes and 'Briti-cised' them. I don't have examples off the top of my head, but I remember one quote being attributed to Brian that included very British phrasing. That's not a direct quote, that's paraphrased.

I don't even think I finished the book. I'd have expected the 'Official' Bio to be put together more like a lot of the UNofficial ones.

Also, a LOT of American fans are not going to understand British terms. Honestly, you're better off collecting the unauthorised bios...

I've read about 18 or so books on this group. And of all of them, if you're going to get one, get this one. It has good details of the boys' life before the group, and area which other books tend to lack in. It has pictures of them when they were kids that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. And it has info on the person who started the group, another thing I find hard to get good info on. This is definately one to buy if you're a major fan.

I think this is the best backstreet boy book ever written. I loved all of the stories. It was so much fun to read about how the backstreet boys first got together. If you have not read this book yet and you are a fan you must have it! Even if you just like to listen to their music you should read it. I think that anyone who wants to be a popstar should read this too. Well I could write 20 pages of this book. I'll leave now but before I do I'd like to thank AMAZON.COM and their customers.
