Excuse me. What else is there to say about Springsteen classics! I received a Springsteen anthology as a gift - which I love. My favorite album of his is Born to Run, and several wonderful songs were missing from the collection. It was great to find these songs on Amazon, and download them to complete my playlist.

"Backstreets" closes out side one of Born To Run. The song opens with a lush piano and organ by Roy Bittan and tells the tale of desperation of living in the shadows on the outskirts of society. It is a powerful message and speaks to anyone who has felt lost in the world and finds a connection to a kindred spirit.
