Amazing harmony, incredible hooks but not just the standard pop fare. The writing is intelligent and a bit unexpected sometimes.
All in all it's one of the best albums this year. Hasn't left my playlist for a couple of weeks now. Favorite cuts in order of preference: 1) Satellites, 8) The Whoa Song, 9) Be With You, 3) The Kiss & 7) Stay.

Karmina's Backwards into Beauty is a great cd if you enjoy soothing and harmonic vocals. Although pop in genre Karmina's music borders on alternative and acoustic. Excellent easy listening cd.

Karmina sing heavenly harmonies in their hook-heavy pop confections. It's very uplifting music somewhat reminiscent of Aly & AJ and ZOEgirl while remaining original.

The lovely ladies of Karmina are the real deal. After hearing their song on "The Hills" last month, I went to check them out live, and they did not disappoint. Their harmonies are spot on! Even the two guys who were with me, who normally do not care for girl singers, were impressed. Sweet faces and gorgeous voices. I'd recommend this album to fans of Michelle Branch and Lifehouse.

This is one of the best CD's I've ever heard. I discovered them when their single "Walk You Home" was played on one my favorite TV shows. I was completely blown away by the harmonies and soulful lyrics. The songs "Free","Inside of you", and "Walk me home" are perfect for anyone who is mending a broken heart. It's refreshing to find something so unique and soulful. Absolutely amazing must have for any CD collection!

I'm not usually into pop-harmony-girl-band sounds, though like some others I do enjoy the occasional Superchick and ZOEgirl song.
I keep coming back to Karmina from time to time and they don't get old because there's some really good songwriting there. They have a lyrical depth that keeps their music from getting old.

Who is Karmina? Karmina is a great up and coming band from Southern California. They are Kelly and Kamille Rudisill. The CD is called Backwards into Beauty. IT features the hit The Kiss. Kelly and Kamille got their start on Disney Channel's 2 Hour Tour. The girls are excellent at what they do. Three Cheers for Kelly and Kamille. If you ever have the chance to go see them live and meet them. You will enjoy their show and their personalities. If you like sparkle rock, then you would like Backwards into Beauty as well as rewriting Chapter 2. Not only am I a fan of thiers, I am also a leader of their NYC Street team. You can hear and see their music videos on youtube.

Took a chance after hearing 'Satellites', but didn't realize I was buying music that is more geared towards a10 year old girl.
