The content is geared toward those who want to be more self-sufficient, or have an interest in homesteading. There are a variety of articles from these topics presented, in addition to overall topics of interest. This issue includes an article on guns aimed at women, how they should choose one, and how to safely operate it. There was also an article about Constitutional Rights... home building, tree branch grafting... throw in some recipes, reader Q&A, and you have a something for everyone!
I would recommend this issue, and the magazine in general, to anyone hoping to achieve a little more self-relience, or seeking the know-how to get there!

I used to subscribe to the print version. This is better as it does not attract silverfish or get moldy in the basement.Published 4 months ago by Mr.E
Backwoods Home Magazine is one of the most unique and informative sources out there. Always worth a read! Hippies through arch-conservatives and everyone in between can benefit.Published 21 months ago by Big___Al
I like these older books just for the info the book has. Sometimes they give me new ideas, sometimes re- affirm what I already know.Published on December 10, 2013 by D. J. Salls
