I bought this game the other day just because my nephews were coming over. But it's actually a lot of fun, I am hooked. It's simple to play, but once you get pitching down scoring drops quickly. There are a good amount of pros around 2-3 per team, but not full rosters and the rest are neighborhood kids. Fielding is very simplistic and there is no online play. However it's definitely a pitching hitting game and both are a lot of fun. You can go through a 16 or 32 game season to unlock some more pro players and parks.

I would have given it a perfect 5 if it had online play. If you are looking for an in depth baseball game with a lot of strategy this isn't for you, if you loved wii baseball but wish it had more, this game is great.

Excellent ~~ our son loves all the Backyard games and he's 15. Never too old for these!

backyard baseball is really fun!you can unlock loads of new characters,throw different pitches,and loads more!if i could,i'd give it more than 5 stars.

This has been a fun game for the kids. It is interactive and involves a lot of movement. The number of commands is confusing at first but after playing you learn them.

11 year old son likes the game but the ball keeps disappearing. The homerun derby mode especially. You foul the ball off once and it never comes back. You lose everything you did and can't finish the game. Sort of surprised no one else mentioned this.

not only do the kids love this game, but so do the adults when they are done playing it.

My son loves this game! We are big fans of all the Backyard sports games.

bought this game because of the decent reviews and was told it plays like Wii sports baseball. LET ME WORN YOU NOW!!!

This does not even come close to the three inning game on wii sports. The pitching and hitting suck so bad! you can just sit there and "flick" the controller as it instructs and have no fun! YAY!! dont buy this game!!!

I bought this game in October as a Christmas present for my son. Needless to say it did not work and I was unable to return it because it was after 30 days of purchase. I would advise reading the fine print or actually, not purchasing video games online.
