I can't believe I am the first one to review this album, because I can't imagine that anyone can hear even one song from it and not have it stuck in her head for weeks. Every song on this album is folk-pop gem, with smart lyrics, catchy melodies and, best of all, Caroline Smith's one-of-a-kind voice, which is as sweet and feminine as it is direct and brassy. And banjo! How could you go wrong? Highly recommended.

I've been listening to worldwide music for 40+ years and am bored by most of the so-called "new" stuff out there. This album, however, caught my attention for its delightful melodies, Caroline Smith's voice, and interesting harmonies. Thank you Minnesota Public Radio "Song of the Day" podcast for introducing me to this CD.

I heard Caroline Smith's voice, on NPR's "The Current Song of the Day," for the first time today. I had to buy the album immediately, just so I could enjoy hearing her smooth and sometimes warbly singing voice.
