5.0 out of 5 stars Essential reference for new beekeepers December 20, 2013
Format:Paperback
This is an information packed book for beginning beekeepers. From what kind of equipment is needed to caring for the bees and processing the honey, everything is documented and the book is well illustrated. Having started with three hives last year, I can attest that a simple clear book like this is essential. There are so many new terms to learn and the author takes you through the entire season of beekeeping. This book is really an affordable one-stop for 'need to know' information on caring for your honey bees.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't even consider buying this book. December 5, 2013
Format:Paperback
I have read many books on beekeeping and this is by far the biggest load of rubbish that I have ever come across. There are mistakes on every page and the most recent book listed as a reference dates back to 1978. Don't even consider buying this book as there are many many better books around.
