Good realistic drawings ... detailed for the older child or senior adult. Includes useful informational verbage on each page pertaining to the subject.

I just purchased these Dover COloring Books for my mother and she loves them. The detail is out of this world and the variety of colors you can use are only limited by your inagination. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I purchased several of Dots coloring books and was disapointed when they arrived because she had inked in so many of the drawings. I had hoped that they would be the size of the book and instead there was writing and notes concerning each pictuure. What a waste.

I have bought several coloring books from Amazon, and this is by far my favorite. I also like a Walk in the Woods. Relaxing activity for someone who wants to do something while sitting, watching tv or just something a little creative, if you don't know how to paint or draw yourself! Used with Prisma Colored Pencils, the best.

This coloring book has great detail. I like the fact that it is geared for a more detailed artist-at-heart. Lovely pictures to color.

I bought several coloring books through amazon that are more detailed and better suited for the coloring-loving adult. These type of detailed books work best with colored pencils. I prefer pencils over crayons most of the time anyways, because there is less mess when sharpening. I still enjoy coloring in the little kid type of coloring books with crayons on occasion, but I love these more detailed books. Coloring is a great way to relax or distract yourself when recovering from an illness or surgery.

Fantastic. These books are the best I have found to find pictures to use as templets or stencils for designs to paint on silk.
