This game is great for my 6 and a half year old son. Great for kids with a general knowledge of football, who want something a little easier to play. He has Madden 09 also which is much more complicated and requires a higher level of football knowledge.

I bought this game for my 7-yr old grandson for Christmas. He loves it - never stops playing it.

My son (10yo) got this game for Christmas and really enjoys it. He was also asking for a Madden game for DS, but they are hard to come by and very expensive, so the Backyard series has been great at filling that void. Was a great choice for a beginner football game on DS...was easy for him to learn on his own and he has played it a lot in the past week.

My son, 9, thinks this game is better than Madden '09(which he absolutely loved when he first got). He said it's the best football DSi game out there. It's easy to figure out without even reading the instructions and provides hours of fun! Definitely recommended to other football fans!

My son who is 10 got this game for Christmas and he has played it everyday. This is his favorite dsi game. He asked for this game before it was released. The Backyard series has great games.

Fun game for all ages. 4 year old and 7 year old are able to play one another in this game so controls are easy to learn. Also has fun skill games.

Good Starter football game, my son liked this game he is 9 years old, easy to learn would recommend it.

I bought this game so my son can start understanding the concepts of football. This is not a "Madden" game. Basic football, with preset passes/ plays. It also has kid features only they will love, such as "Stinky Pants" or "Ice Cream", which make the players on the other team lose focus. My 6 year old likes it so far, but I can tell he will be tired of it soon.
