Cooking for one or two up to a thousand, whatever you wish! Great ideas about how things have been done in the past in handling food, even alternative refrigeration without electricity in the hot Arizona summer days. Great variety of recipes and good 'how to's' along with great humor and lore about the Old West.

Great recipes and stories from a well-known "Western Horseman" magazine contributing author. Entertaining and useful for ranch cooking.

My wife and I picked up this cook book atChiricahua National Monument and love it. We live in AZ and love to spend time outdoors around our bonefire and eat dinner under the stars. It has great recipes for outdoor and indoor cooking for those good old family home style dinners.
