If you're looking to cleanse your palate with the refreshing aromatics of mint and hickory smoke, this is the product for you. It can be difficult to achieve such a delicate balance between smoke and mint when using a home smoker.
Where this product stumbles, however, is with the fat based flavors - the subtle porky undertones fail to materialize, and the expected taste of nitrosylhemochrome, unique to cured meats, is lacking altogether. For such flavors in a candy, one would be better served by one of the excellent bacon chocolates now available.
Nevertheless, in spite of its failings this product stands solidly on its own two feet and comes in an attractive tin as well.

Gave as a gag gift, they said they were the nastyest thing ever. The packaging is awesome, great gag gift.

They made a funny gift for my boyfriend who LOVES anything bacon... but boy did they taste horrible! I suppose that's to be expected though. Bacon and mint do not go well together, go figure!

We've purchased a number of odd bacon products -- Bacon Explosion, Bacon bandages, etc. The novelty can be interesting, but these mints just taste awful. I brought them to my work holiday party and the conclusions were the same -- interesting enough to try once and then wish you hadn't. Sorry guys. Try again.
