This Baton Rouge, LA native first signed with Trill Entertainment, backed by Pimp C of UGK in 2001. Independently, Lil Boosie sold over 15,000 copies with the release of "For My Thugs". By 2005, Boosie signed with Universal Records and appeared on several Southern Smoke mixtapes. Boosie is back with Bad Ass Mixtape to demonstrate exactly why he's major.
