I was speechless when I started sampling the music. This was the music I danced to at Clubs till wee hours of the morning. I have been searching for this perfect CD...didn't think it existed. I am born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and spent many weekends in Manhattan dancing to this music, until the pain in my leg muscles was unbearable. WOW...I can listen to this all day especially on the exercise machine.

..if you're serious about house music, then this is the cd to get from the beginning to end...nothing but slammin' beats...aerobic instructors, this is the cd to get for your classes....slammin'!

I can't believe it! Someone has finally had the sense to release a c.d. with some of the hardest-to-find club anthems like "Follow Me" by Aly Us and "The Perculator" by Cajmere. I've been trying to find these 2 tracks on c.d.'s for several years now...and finally my prayers have been answered.
Not only is this an incredible collection of great classic house tracks...but Bad Boy Joe knew to let enough of each song play so that everyone could appreciate this slammin' mix.
Keep'em coming Bad Boy Joe. You are the man!!

I got the cd in today and i cant stop playing it, every song is a big house hit ,the mixing is real clean ,i workout to the mix at the gym , I LOVE IT , IF YOU LIKE REAL HOUSE MUSIC YOU HAVE TO GET THIS ONE, THE CD IS HOT AND BADBOYJOE IS HOT!!!!!!

This new one from Joe fuses all the top house hits into one continuous mix on this cd. From track 1 to 18 you will be jamming non-stop.......just make sure you have a system to keep up with the sounds. I am not a big hosue fan but I liek some of it and this cd does it and then some. If you are a house fan you should get this....or if you justlike some good hosue or something new in dance music......then you need to check this one out.

You've gotta wonder, with a name like "The Ultimate House Megamix," if someone isn't over-compensating for something. This goes ditto for the DJ in question, "Bad Boy" Joe.

Put simply, this is trash. House music is a delicate balance between creativity and repetition, and this set has none of one and too much of the other. Add in some aimless scratch dubs and awkward transition after awkward transition, and what you're left with is something seriously stunted. Apparantly "Bad Boy" Joe thinks that by amping the bass and double-looping lame sound clips ("beat that b**ch with a bat" being the champion of all of this disc's ridiculous lifts), he's creating house, let alone "ultimate" house. Let alone a "megamix" of "ultimate" house.

This is angry, juvenile stuff. Even the few tracks that are tailor-made for house mixes like these (Reel II Reel's "I Like to Move It" and "Nu Nu" by Lidell Townsell) are riddled with so many bad cuts and reverbs that all the juice is squeezed out of them. Altogether, the record sounds like it was molded and mastered by a newbie off of a pair of basement hotplates.

Avoid this garbage. Instead, check out the Renaissance series, or, uh, anywhere else at all, really.

One of the few ways to get Dangerous on the Dance Floor and fortunately the rest of the tracks are great to listen to also.

This had to be one of the worst "Ultimate House" any-mix CD that I've ever heard. "Fired Up" and "I Like To Move It" are not anything new. I already have this on at least one or two other compilation CD's, so to me that doesn't count in upgrading the rating that I am giving to this particular CD. Ironically, there is a track on this album titled "Don't Laugh". I am!

I personally didn't like this album, at all. One star is the most generous rating that I would give. I would have preferred to give it "0 Stars", but this rating system doesn't allow it.

Great old school house music. Brought me back a decade to the good old guido days down the jersey shore.

I'm a real house and club music junkie. I'm 44 years old and live in NYC. I used to go to all the underground clubs to hear the latest house and club mixes. I was a member of the Paradise Garage and I've been hounding real, classic house and club tunes for all of my adult life. I saw some tunes on the CD that I only had on tape (yes, cassettes) so I thought I would give it a try. The mixes were average, maybe even weak on a couple songs. The selection was okay. Outside of the specific tunes I was looking for the rest were just okay. Overall, I liked the CD but Ultimate doesn't begin to describe the mixes or the selection. Overall, I'd say it's decent to good but not great or Ultimate.
